In this travel guide to Asheville NC we will be explaining our mini-moon experience in the beautiful, mountain town. If you are following us on Instagram then you know that we got married on January 29th, 2022. We originally had an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora booked but, unfortunately, due to Covid travel restrictions we had to cancel the trip. 🙁
Paul’s parents were so generous and booked us a stay at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville NC for a mini-moon experience. Neither of us had ever been to this historic hotel but it is a must when searching for a travel guide to Asheville NC.
The Omni Grove Park Inn Asheville includes basically everything you need and you really don’t even have to leave the hotel unless you just want to! (We did haha just to get out and about)

Our Mini-Moon Experience at the Omni Grove Park Inn
We arrived to a small bottle of wine: Josh, cabernet (one of my favs!), chocolates, a card, and a $100 gift card! After a 2+ hour drive, we were ready to relax, sip, and enjoy our time together. 😌
One night we opted in for room service (pick-up during Covid) from the Edison, Craft Ales + Kitchen. We got the fried green tomatoes, local cheese charcuterie board, joyce farms chicken, bison meatloaf, and apple cobbler. Everything was phenomenal!!
Our server was also excellent! He ended up giving us a free appetizer + free dessert in honor of celebrating our marriage.
The next day we had breakfast at the Blue Ridge. It’s a buffet style with literally every single breakfast food you can imagine! Soooo good!
For lunch, we had to stop by my favorite brewery – Wicked Weed Brewing. Also, we stopped by a few local boutiques and picked up some cute outfits! 😍
We ate dinner at a local Italian restaurant, Strada Italiano. It was PHENOMENAL and 10/10 – will def be back in the future. Then, we came back and relaxed in the lounge while listening to the live music play!
Overall, we had a wonderful mini-moon to Asheville NC and we can’t wait to get back! Stay tuned to see where we will end up going in the spring for our ACTUAL HONEYMOON! Any guesses?! 😍
